Code: PCC/21/872 Coaching Skills Practice

This is a 2 hour facilitated session on Microsoft Teams for anyone wishing to practise their coaching skills. It complements the Rough Guide to Coaching & Developing People workshop and is an opportunity to practise and get feedback on the skills covered at that event.

If you are new to coaching you should attend the Rough Guide workshop first to get the basics as there will be very little teaching at this one.

Please note, this event needs at least 2 attendees to run effectively so will be subject to cancellation if the requisite number of people are not booked on.

For those attending, please come with a current developmental challenge that you are prepared to share with others.

This is a follow-up session for managers and supervisors that attended the 1-day training in February. The course is aimed at all that work in a range of social care settings who supervise qualified and non-qualified practitioners. This training will explore the nature of supervision in contemporary practice using the what? why? and how? Framework, as well as using restorative practice and trauma informed models.

Anyone involved in the preparation, cooking or presentation of food either as a new food handler or someone who needs to renew their level 2 food safety certificate.

 

Course overview

Designed for anyone who prepares, cooks or serves food in the catering industry. Covers all aspects of food safety and enables learners to understand their legal responsibilities and know what constitutes best practice with regards to controlling food safety hazards, key temperatures, food storage, food preparation, personal hygiene and premises cleaning.

There is a £60 charge per person to attend this course.

This is an online module with 5 online sessions (1.5 hours each) :  In booking this training you are commiting to attend all 5 sessions.

This series of workshops is aimed at introducing parents and carers to online risks, resilience and raising their understanding of young people’s experiences and perspective. They then examine the significance of social media and digital technologies in young people’s lives and relationships and offers a systematic and evidence-informed approach for safeguarding young people online. 

The aim is to enhance parents and carers digital parenting skills with a focus on early identification of risks, promoting digital resilience and achieving digital well-being in a developmentally appropriate manner. This also offers a practical approach to working with trauma and supporting young people’s positive development.

Code: SCH/22/18 KS1 Moderation Surgeries 2022 - GROUP ONE

MODERATOR SURGERY - KS1 - GROUP 1

Schools working 1:1 with a moderator to look at evidence bases in maths, English and reading and moderators to give advice and support.  Schools need to book one place on either Group 1 or Group 2.  You must attend all 3 sessions and you cannot swap between groups.  You can send up to 4 teachers per session, but only one teacher needs to book their place on the PLG. 

 

You will be allocated via a separate email from the moderation team, a one hour slot between 15:00 and 18:00 where you can send up to 4 teachers.
